Here are the revised paragraphs of the Ministry of the Environment, Energy and Climate Change Regulations, as well as the Legal Improvements to the Draft Law: “Urgent Measures for the Implementation of the Mid-term Financial Strategy Framework 2012-2016”.
At the same time, the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change is in constant contact with the Banks and looks forward to their positive response.
I.2. RES SETTINGS
An extraordinary special solidarity levy is imposed on the electricity producers from RES and CHP stations, which is calculated on the price of electricity sales that take place between 1.7.2012 and 30.6.2014 and concerns the operating stations, as well as those who stations are put into trial mode or switched on afterwards.
The special solidarity levy is calculated as a percentage of the pre-tax sale price of electricity sold by the Producer to the System or the Interconnected Grid or to the electrical systems of the Non-Interconnected Islands, amounting to:
a) Twenty-five percent (25%) for the photovoltaic stations that were tested or connected to 31.12.2011.
b) Thirty percent (30%) for the photovoltaic stations which have been tested or activated after 1.1.2012 and the compensation of the energy produced is calculated on the basis of the reference value of the table in Article 27A of the Law. 3734/2009, as applicable, corresponding to a month prior to February 2012.
c) Twenty-seven percent (27%) for the photovoltaic plants tested or activated after January 1, 2012 and the compensation of the energy produced shall be calculated on the basis of the reference value of the table in Article 27a of Regulation 3734/2009, as applicable, corresponding to the period between February 2012 and 9 August 2012.
d) Ten per cent (10%) for other RES stations and CHP stations.
By decision of the Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate Change, the obligation to pay the above contribution may be extended for another year.
The above levy is not imposed on the photovoltaic stations for which the compensation of the generated energy is calculated based on the reference value of the table of article 27A of law 3734/2009, which corresponds to a date later than 9th of August 2012, and for its photovoltaic stations Special Program for the Development of Photovoltaic Systems in Building Facilities.
